About the Event
Please join us on April 15 & 16 for AJRCA's Virtual Spiritual Care and Education Seminars. The topic of our Spring Seminar is: “When Tomorrow Begins: Meeting the Limits of Our Capacity as Spiritual Care Providers.”
Our rabbis teach that we can determine the moment when night ends and the new day begins when we are able to look at a person at a distance and know they are our fellow. Seeing the other at a distance and knowing that they too are our fellow is an aspirational metaphor for our work as spiritual care providers and leaders. This aspiration is often challenged when we encounter care recipients who push our boundaries and bring us to the edge of our capacity.
