Director

Adam Chiang Toler serves as Director to the Center for Interfaith Collaboration. He is a Ph.D. student in Contextual Theologies at Claremont School of Theology—a program rooted in interfaith, intercultural, and interreligious study that allows him to remain based in Massachusetts while traveling periodically to Los Angeles and Tainan, Taiwan. A graduate of Yale Divinity School and Andover Newton Seminary, Adam holds master’s degrees in Philosophical Theology and Divinity.

Before joining the CIC, Adam taught Global Religions and Life Sciences at St. Martin de Porres Academy in New Haven, Connecticut, an independent middle school serving students living at or below the federal poverty line. His academic and community work explore the intersections of lived theologies, harm-reduction ethics, and trauma-informed ministry. He has served in chaplaincy and program development at Yale’s cultural centers and Chaplain’s Office, in housing-insecurity and harm-reduction nonprofits, and as a guest minister across traditions.

Advisory Board & Founding Members

The Center for Interfaith Collaboration is guided by a dedicated Advisory Board, who generously contribute their time, expertise, and wisdom to help shape the strategic direction and programs of the Center. We are immensely grateful for their commitment to promoting interfaith harmony and cooperation.
